problem using my own video as background

When shooting videos with my Verizon galaxy nexus using one of my own videos, or "in space" or "sunset", as the background effect, the resulting video comes out squeezed side to side, or stretched vertically. Since I had used this camcorder effect with no problem when I first got the phone in Dec, I assume the problem arose after the JB update. Anyone else have problem using this camera effect?

This is not an issue I've ever encountered. The only thing I can think of to try is one, or more, of the different camera apps from the market.

For those of you who are not experiencing this problem, are you on build number JRO03O, Baseband i515.09 v.Ff02 /i515.Ff02, android 4.1.1? Thanks.
