Galaxy Nexus [GSM] Battery Issue - WEIRD!
Hello all
On my Galaxy Nexus, i used to run the ARHD 6.0.1 ROM (Android Revolution HD), Combined with franco's Kernel.
2 days ago, i decided to update my ROM to version 6.1.0, and after doing that, i flashed the Trinity Kernel, ofcourse, i did clean flashes, wiped everything, etc...
Since that day, here is my annoying issue, The battery charges upto 90%, then stops, on the HomeScreen i see the Battery icon animated, asin charging, but when i check the Battery through the settings menu, it says (90% - Not Charging).
I have done the following, trying to fix it:
- Flashed 4 different ROMs, each of them was Flashed completely clean, fully wiping the phone, etc..
- Ran the Battery Callibration app from the Market..
- Wiped Battery Stats through CWM several times..
& Last thing i did was few hours ago, i went back to the STOCK JB 4.1.1 ROM, and yes, fully wiping my Nexus, everything, 110% Clean Wipe.
The issue remains
Everything was great till i decided to update the ARHD ROM
Is there anyone with a Fix for this ? Or that can help ?
Thanks

Did you check your kernel settings, I know there is a battery saver option that tells the phone to stop charging at a certain point to avoid charging to 100%. I wonder if your new Rom or Kernel has that setting turned on to try to extend the life of the battery. I don't have the trinity app to tell you where that option is, I use Franco's kernel and the app for that, but if you look around you may find the option.

On this issue, I did not come across this problem, lithium batteries have no memory effect, but to tell you, for the first time, do not need to charge the full 10-14 hours, so you can extend the battery life
