Gsm galaxy nexus bricked because of using the wrong files in odin

root status : stock
i was trying to flash stock rom into my galaxy nexus running in jelly bean as it was stuck in the boot animation image due and i happen to read abt odin to flash the stock rom 4.02 into the VzW-PDA-ODIN-I515EL03_ICL53F_signed file for pda and VzW-PHONE-ODIN-SCH-I515.EK02_LTE file for the phone in the odin application
i tried to flash it and everything was going well till suddenly i saw a fail mark in odin
i tried restarting the fone and it got stuck in a "phone yellow "!" triangle and pc image" it doesnt turn on nor does it get flashed again
i tired reading your forms for help but i wasnt able to find anyone wid the exact same problem as me
plzz help me

If you flashed those files then you flashed the wrong files. Those were for Verizon LTE phones and not for GSM. Your best bet at this point is to try to get into download mode and flash the correct files. If you can't get into download mode then try getting into bootloader and then recovery. From there see if you can do factory data reset. Sorry I'm at work.

how do i get into download mode ?
its not even responding to odin now its stopping at "SETTING UP CONNECTION"
please provide the link to the proper files or proper method to rescue my phone

DL mode is Volume down + Power.

I haven't seen any GSM Odin files in a while. You may have to sift through these search results and see if you can find something.

no luck
fone is recognised in odin and i can see id:com
but odin freezes at settin up connection
i tried flashing with 4.04 odin file found in the searches (CF_YAKJU_IMM76D_full)
but it doesnt flash at all
the computer recognises the deivce as samsung usb composite in the universal serial controller bus section

also
tried getting fone into dowload mode
doesnt work
no matter wat i push the phone exclamation pc image comes up

If you can not get into download mode or bootloader, I'm afraid there isn't many options left for your phone. You could try to send it in to Samsung for repair or you can try to purchase a USB jig that might get you into download mode. Here is a sample for the USB jig.

Bought the usb jig
it will arrive in four or five days
will let u know after i get it and
if even the jig fails to work then its off to samsung i guess
