Google Music Can't Download Pinned Songs

Hi, I have a VZW Galaxy Nexus. I'm running Vicious Jellybean rom 4.1.1, and for some reason, whenever I try to pin any music to save to my device, I get the error "Can't download songs right now. Check your Internet Connection"

My wifi is on.

Under accounts make sure google music is set to sync

I had this problem months ago, I think that's how I fixed it


Edit: also log into Google music from computer and make sure there aren't 10 authorized devices...every time you flash a new ROM it sees it as a new device...it's one of those two issues...just don't remember which

Yeah, i think it was the authorized devices that was my issue. Thanks! Happy it isnt my ROM

Also, does anyone know if you can flash gapps.zip over a ROM without wiping data, even if you already have gapps on the phone? The gapps that came with my ROM seem to have all except for the calendar sync apk. My google calendars just will not sync :\

You can. Just wipe cache & Dalvik.

Sweet, thanks man, I already flashed it anyways with my fingers crossed and it fixed my issue, but I just went back and wiped my dalvik and cache to be safe.

Is it normal to get an "Android is upgrading..." screen with an "Optimizing app __ of ___" when rebooting the phone after?

That will happen every time you wipe Dalvik. The Dalvik cache needs to rebuild.
