Thumbs up J bean 4.1.1 issue

    Hi,
I've upgraded to JB 4.1.1 and my screen keeps turning itself on and off without reason while in sleep mode. This sucks... Who do I have to rant to? My GN is brandnew: mint, unrooted and untampered with.

If you think it's because you have 4.1.1 then I would think that it's an app compatibility issue. I would first try battery pull for 10 minutes. Also start uninstalling downloaded apps and see if that fixes it. If all fails then try a factory data reset. This could take you back to the previous OS version but it should prompt you to take the OTA update again.

Have you backed up your files and pictures? I see too many desperate cries for help recovering deleted priceless pictures with no solution.

I have the same problem as well since I got the OTA update this morning. Did not install any new apps after the OTA.

    Thanks paul_gyver

The 10 minute battery pull out did the trick. I shouldve tried that before bothering with my silly newbie questions.
    Thx
