    Can't boot past Google Logo

So I was just browsing the internet on my phone, then everything went all pixely and it wouldn't do anything, so I just shrugged it off and did a battery pull. Now it won't boot past the Google screen. The Rom I was using was VanirBean_toro_v8.0.1.0_final. I can get into recovery, but I really don't know what to do, can anyone help please?

There are a couple of things you can do:

In recovery, clear your cache and you dalvik cache. Is it going to help? Probably not, but it can't hurt (as far as I know, it's usually the first thing I do). From there you can try and boot again. If it still does not get past the Google screen again, you can try a data wipe/reset.

If a data wipe/reset does not do it, then if you have the ROM on the internal SD card I would try and flash it again. Yeah, you will lose your app data, but the rest should be fine.

I would def go with the smaller steps first, clearing the caches.

**EDIT** I am not too familiar with the ROM, these are just kind of general practices I do when I run in to trouble. I assume you followed all of the instructions for flashing the ROM blah blah blah....but most importantly, did you do a full wipe before installing the ROM? Or were you coming from a previous version of the ROM? Just throwing out some ideas.

Yeah I cleared cache that did nothing but get me past the google logo for 1/2 a boot animation then it froze and reset itself, and yeah I did a full wipe before I installed the rom, I went from stock 4.0.4 to that Jelly Bean rom

If you have a pretty recent backup, I would try to flash the ROM again, or try and go back to stock.

Just looking over the instructions, if you did the SuperWipe and flashed the ROM, I would say try it again. How long was it up and running on the new ROM before it crashed on you?

As far as I can tell, those are your only two options. I would go with trying to flash the ROM again. If you have a pretty recent backup, I would say it's probably not going to hurt anything to give it a try.

How long are you waiting on boot up? JB roms can take a long long time to boot. Have you updated su binaries?

I was waiting until it just kept rebooting itself, but today it's just sitting at the Google logo forever it's been about 5 minutes nothings happening, and yes they're updated.

Edit Update: about 5 minutes after I posted this, my phone booted up, worked for about 3 minutes then froze, I go into recovery and it is saying, E:Can't mount /sdcard/

My first boot after flash was freaky and long. I did feel the vibration tho so after 5+ minutes I just pulled battery and reboot. All was well on 2nd boot.
If you still have problems then wipe everything again and flash again.

Tried to wipe, it came up with E:Can't mount /sdcard/ then it rebooted itself
