    A) if Odin is failing then you need to unistall Odin from your PC and download it again.
    B) if firmware was corrupt then you need to download a new firmware file.
    C) not sure OTA has anything to do with this process.
    D) are you using the stock usb cable when doing this?

Before you flash anything can you get back to stock? How to get back to stock using Odin

Have you backed up your files and pictures? I see too many desperate cries for help recovering deleted priceless pictures with no solution.

I've only found a handful of people with this same problem, they've all seemed to fix theirs somehow, I'm researching it, but all of it uses Odin

I redownloaded Odin and the same stuff is going on. I downloaded firmware files (I think) I'm assuming that's what the PDA and PHONE files are for Odin. Yeah OTA has nothing to do with it in this case, just something I found out. Yeah I'm using a stock cable.

Nope, I followed your guide to a T, made sure I did everything just right, but my phone just wants to be difficult

I talked to Samsung tech support online they had no clue because it wasn't in their computers, I went to Verizon they said they have no clue the saleswoman showed it to 10 different employees, they called tech support and people above them, they all had no clue, it's an unregistered error on both Samsung and Verizons computers

Yea I figured as much you did it right. One last thing. Can you manually get into fastboot? Power off then volume up & down + power? Then try navigating to recovery from there.

Nope, just that screen, I can push both + power, down + power, odin, adb, etc, it all does the same thing, Verizon is sending me a new phone because no one had any idea what's going on, they just chalked it up as a hardware failure
