Stuck on Splash Screen (Not rooted!)

Hi!
I was out walking today when my phone suddenly restarted. Then it did not get past the splash screen, the screen that comes after the Google logo.
I have not rooted the phone or modified it in any way.

Now I wont get past this screen, the only way to turn off the phone is to pull the battery.
Can you guys help me get my phone working again?

Have you tired pulling the battery and sim card. Let it set for a few mins. (lets it reset) then insert card and battery back in the device and power it on? See if that works. good luck. BTW, welcome to the forum.

Yeah I tried that several times and nothing happened.

But guess what happened after an hour? It restarted and this time it worked. It still works now after a couple of restarts.

Hi again!

So it happened again in the evening today. My phone suddenly restarted and then it did not get past the splash screen.
Every time I restart it (by removing the battery and putting it back) it gets stuck on the splash screen.

I have tried the following things so far:

-Pull the battery and sim card and restart the phone.
-Remove battery and sim card for 10 min+, insert them and then restart the phone.
-Charged the phone for 1 hour and tried to restart it, stuck at splash screen.

I would be grateful for any advice from you guys!

(I have still not modified the phone in any way, it is still stock)

How long has it been in this state? I would actually suggest doing a factory reset. It will wipe most everything off the system. Is your phone GSM or LTE?

Now, in the morning, I still get stuck at the splash screen when I try to restart the phone.
Ah, yes, I read about doing a factory reset before posting here. But you see, there is a small problem.
The button that is meant to increase the volume (Volume up) is not working.

I think my phone is LTE!
