Hi,
I recently unlocked and rooted my Verizon Samsung Galaxy Nexus phone using Wug's Galaxy Nexus Root Toolkit. Despite not knowing what the heck I was doing, I followed the excellent detailed instructions and was able to root and use my phone for wireless tethering. (Honestly, I don't even know what a ROM is, never mind how to Flash it, so my success was a small miracle.) Today, I was prompted for the OTA update to IMM76K. Overconfident from my recent wireless tether victory, I figured the worst that could happen was that I'd have to reroot my phone. I pressed the update now button and a few seconds later ended up with an image of the android icon laying on his back with a red triangle with an exclaimation point sticking out of his chest. I don't know what that means but I'm pretty sure it's not a good. If someone can provide some idiot-proof advice on how to get my phone working again and either revive android guy or put him out of his misery, I'd be very grateful!
