[HOW TO] Return to Stock Using Odin (VZW LTE ONLY)

Doesn't matter what recovery you have as this process will overwrite it with stock recovery. If Odin does not recognize your phone you can try that USB driver.

My phone is in download mode, all files are ready to go...i did not get confirmation in the ID:COM window...not sure why

Tried both drivers - no luck

Try reboot of pc. Are you using the original USB cable?

No im not using the original usb cable. Unfortunately i dont have it any more, but i have many others. so i'll try a few. My pc is picking up the device as unknown, its just odin that doesnt see it apparently. also, is it unsafe to remove battery while in download mode?

Yeah try different USB cables but original works best Imo. I don't really like to pull battery in that mode but you can if you have to.

Hey all, new to this forum. I wish this wasn't my first post.

My USB port is toast, and I need to return my phone back to stock so that I can return it. I've turned the phone to stock before (manually flashing files), but I can't connect to my phone using ADB because the USB port is borked. I found Mobile Odin in the market - are the steps for returning the phone back to stock the same if using this as they are for the regular version of Odin?

Yes it should be pretty much the same. After installing mobile odin, flash the factory files and you are set to go.
