Who is your service provider? Had you unlocked, rooted, or otherwise modified the phone?

Welcome to the forum! Hate your going through this though ...

Have you tried a battery pull (also if you're on Verizon a sim card pull)? Let it/them sit out for about 5 minutes and then try booting.

    Also, are you rooted?

Just hang tight, you're in the right place - if I can't get you up and running, someone will come along that can.

    Hi thanks for the replies,

My service provider is Orange and as for unlocking, rooted, or modified the phone... nothing that I'm aware off, its the same as I brought it on the day it was released.
I'm abit of a novice when it comes to mobile phones so not entirely sure what 'Rooting' 'Unlocked' etc is ...

Yeah i have tried a battery and sim pull for 5 minutnes, 10 minutes and 20 minutes and still nothing.

This is the first problem I have had with this great phone, the best phone I've owned by a mile !

Hopefully i can get this sorted with your help.

    thanks

OK lets try this - with the phone off, hold both volume up and volume down in at the same time and then power it on.

You should get a screen with the little Android dude laying on his back. At the top, you'll see different options (Start, Recovery, etc) that you can scroll through with the volume buttons and select with the power button. At this point, simply select "Start"

OK, I figured it might , but I think the silver lining here is that you GOT to that screen ... I feel it more then likely can be fixed, but I will be honest and say I am not familiar with your carrier and what files would be needed.

Hate to leave you hanging with a none-working phone, but I am confident someone (more knowledgeable than I lol) will be along with assistance...

For starters I'd go back into the screen Yank put you in (volume buttons + power), but this time use the volume keys to navigate to Recovery and press the Power button to select. If you get an Android on his back here with an exclamation point, press the 3 buttons again to get you on into Recovery. I can't remember the stock recovery menu exactly, but you should have something like "Wipe cache partition" there. Select that and then try to reboot again.

I never did ask - how long have you had the device?

I think at this point contacting your carrier (or the place the place you purchased the phone) may be in order. You could try flashing the stock image to get things back up and running, but if you're not familiar or comfortable with doing things like that I would not recommend it.
