Phone vibration making strange noise
Hello all, this is my first post on this forum, just created my account :)
But unfortunately I'm writing this because I got a problem with my Galaxy Nexus :(. Some days ago I was running around holding my Nexus on my hands (don't try this) and I accidentally dropped it on the ground. It cracked open and the backpanel and the battery separated from the device. I mounted it up again and it worked fine. But then I received an SMS and it vibrated, making a strange noise with it.
It's like if there is some loose piece that vibrates with it and makes the noise. I made a recording of it so you could have a better idea of what I am talking about: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/45965055/Recording (1).amr
I also tried opening it (like really disassembling this time, though I didn't remove the motherboard) and could have an idea of where the sound was coming from: when I press with my finger some region of the motherboard (I attached an image showing that region), it vibrates normally, otherwise it won't.
So, does anyone have an idea of what could be happening? Should I remove the motherboard to check for something behind it? Any other thing you think I could try? Thank you all in advance o/
