    Jelly bean and my experience

    So just thought I would share my experience on jelly bean. The rom works great so smooth Google did a great job. The only thing battery life sucks. With that being said I wanted to go back to a backup I had but not one would work always got an error. So o tried to flash the liquid 1.5 zip I had nothing but boot loops. So after I did factory reset in recovery I tried jelly bean and it booted just fine. My conclusion is once you go jelly bean there is no going back.

    I was on jellybean and went back to aokp easily. Wiped everything, restored my backup.
    So your conclusion is wrong.

    Well I'm glad it work for you but I have been on hundred of forums where they have all the same problem.
    If you care to share the trick I'm sure there tons of folks that would love to know how you did it.

    All I did was wipe data, cache and dalvik and then restored my backup.

    Do you have touch recovery?

    That's what I was thinking its like cwm is not wiping the phone or something. Is there any other way to clear data besides what cwm offers

    The Superuser for jb is supersu. Make sure you update binaries as soon as you install it.

    Before you flash anything can you get back to stock? How to get back to stock using Odin



    Have you backed up your files and pictures? I see too many desperate cries for help recovering deleted priceless pictures with no solution.

    Need to hard reset? How to Hard Reset-Factory Data Reset.
