Well I didn't think I would get any replys so to come back and see all the warm welcomes are nice, and shows this is going to be as active as the DX ones I hope!

A few have laughed at me wanting to stay stock, the first night I really wanted to. I'ts day 3 now and i'm already itching to get another rom on here! Everyone knew me better then I knew my self haha. The best part of android phones to me is the ability to customize and I've been looking at all the great roms out there.

I have been looking at the Gnex toolkit v7.0 and I think i'm going to unlock it and root it. I'm sure not long after that I will be putting AOKP on there.

A coworker and a friend that has the prime both recommended AOKP over CM9. My friend was a big user of CM9 before hand, so when he said try out AOKP I was surprised. Anyone using it?

AOKP # 38 is running flawless...It's without a doubt in the top notch of roms for the phone...Liquid is also another great rom ...currently Liquid 1.4 but soon to get a new update...You will find plenty great roms for this phone...Team Sourcery is also coming out with a new version that plenty of peeps are looking forward ...Yes you have entered the world of "FLASHERS ANONYMOUS" LOL

This right here! This is exactly why I came to the nexus. I was already flashing roms on my DX like crazy and I wanted the full experience of a unlocked boot loader. It really is sad how bad moto got after making the DX. In my opinion that was the last good phone they came out with. The maxx seriously had the potential to be such a great phone.

I've heard getting the phone back to stock settings is really really easy also which was a pain the ass on the DX, so looking forward to that.

A few things I'm not liking about the phone is the lack of use of the 3 side pins and a car dock, but after reading it seems lot of people about that. I think the 3 pins are seriously such a good idea and its sad that they aren't getting much use. I would love to be able to use them.

Also, NFC what the hell. This sounds so cool but I'm not hearing much about it. And Verizon blocked it? Ugh. I hope we get some use out of both items.

Yeah it took me a little while to get this phone, but I couldn't pass up a unlocked device. Yeah I've seen a lot of people on here that I remember from the dx forum.
