Cool Just got my Galaxy Nexus

    Hello All,

I just got my Galaxy Nexus on Sprint. I just upgraded from a Nexus One on t-mobile. I loved that phone, but it's age was showing and I had to retire it. Now i've got the latest and greatest, and so far I like it a lot. I do have one question for anyone else with one. Is there a way to send multi-page text messages? I get limited to 160 characters, the default. Is that something that is inherit to the Samsung? Or is that a sprint thing? My nexus one on tmobile could text up to 6 pages of messages before I sent it. Anyone else have this issue? Is there a way around it?

Thanks all! I look forward to learning more about the phone from all of you.

    Congrats and welcome!

Also, I do believe that you don't have to worry about pages anymore.

    Try this -

type 200 characters in a text message. Does it stop you at 160?

I think the limit is for networks, or maybe even individual phones (like "feature" phones) that can't handle that amount of data in one message. We can send and receive one large message, but on the inside of how its transmitted and received by the recipient, it may be broken down. But we don't really care how it works, as long as it works.

I would say to no longer worry about the limit!

I know what your saying because mine does it too.

When your typing a text message, once you get to 160 letters, you have to send it before continuing your message. Our old phones will let you keep typing even tho its gonna send them as seperate messages.
