So I take it wugs kit worked for you and you didn't brick the phone...lol CNA, humm never tried it. I love AOKP. That's my "go to" rom of choice. Try all of them. BTW, don't sweat the battery, no battery can stay charged when you are in recovery more than you are in idle..LOL Happy Flashing

I replaced my OG Droid for the G-Nex too. The only things I hate about my nexus are:
1. GPS is very inaccurate (My Tracks has me jumping all over the place).
2. Not very loud
3. There is still no decent car dock for it.

Otherwise I love my G-Nex.

UPDATE:
I found this fix for my GPS issues:

It basically adds some more/better/closer NTP servers to the GPS config. (see http://ntp.org to find servers near you)
Now my GPS is very accurate and quick to lock too!

I got this car mount http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004M8ST18 and some NFC stickers. Now I have all the functionality of my OD, but in a sweet, sweet GNexus! The only thing left to wish for is an update to LauncherPro... and a pony.

1. My GPS has been really good. Maybe try clearing the cache and seeing if maps has an update.
2. Try Volume+ free in the market and a lot of folks swear it works great

My Tracks has been pretty inconsistent for me over a number of devices. Try MapMyRide instead. I've been using it for a while and like it a lot.

Well, I've flashed about a half a dozen ROMs, remain confused. Some vary wildly in feature sets, but I'm missing stuff that seemed even regular in all GB ROMs. Maybe I'm looking in the wrong place. Like LED notifications and a number in the notification bar that tells gives me my battery left. Here are some other questions I'm accumulating:

1) Howcum Face Lock only seems to be functioning in stock ICS? When I look at the ROM in Titanium Backup, I see the facelock apk is there.
2) What's the easiest way to get functional two-way video?
3) I live in Los Angeles, and I'm not sure I've ever had 4G. And they talk about "Data Usage" but is that 3G or 4G? I thought I continued to have unlimited usage but one Verizon salesman said, "no, that's only 3G." If that's the case, how do I easily know which mode I'm in?
4) How come most of the power widget bars don't have a brightness widget? I know that some have it so you can slide the brightness with your finger, oh, and,
5) How come I continue to get like 60 - 70% of my battery usage as SCREEN? I turn the brightness down a lot, isn't there some way to not have the screen just eat the battery?

I'm currently in something called Black Ice. Doesn't seem to be anything wrong with it except it announces things like "Google Play has just stopped working." Is that an old FC?
