How do I get pictures that were attached to a message off my Nexus to my computer?
I received 2 pictures attached to a message in messaging. How do I get these 2 pictures from my Galaxy Nexus to my computer. I have tried AirDroid, looking every where on my phone and online to no avail.
Trying here now.
Any help is very much appreciated.

Re: How do I
Open the pics first then save them. It'll be in the downloads folder. From there you can transfer to pc
Sent from my Nexus 4 using Tapatalk 2
LG Nexus 5 / Nokia Lumia 1520 / Asus Nexus 7

On my gnex the only way to save a pic in messages is to long press the picture then choose save attachment. If you actually open the picture you can't save it...

ThePhantom I very much appreciate your response. Do you have any other suggestions?
I've looked everywhere for a save button, have not been able to find one.
The only description I can give here is that I received the pictures on what is called 'messaging' it is a green shaped box with a white smiley in it. I open it up and on the upper left is the green box smiley, below are the messages I can press to open. I do that on the one I know has the pictures, they open, then on the upper left is who sent the message, to the right of her name is the icon for a phone, then a paper clip then 3 dots atop each other. At the bottom is an area that says 'type message' and to the left of that an arrow. Nothing I click on has a save button. I click on the 3 dots upper left a drop down menu opens with, Add subject, insert smiley, delete thread, settings. If I click on the attachement icon, a menu opens with, Attach, Pictures, capture picture, Videos, Capture video, Record audio and slideshow. If anyone knows how I can get these family pictures from my Galaxy Nexus to my computer I'd be so grateful.
