Give me the phone this month and I won't complain... too much at any rate.

OK, cool beans - except that Verizon was preparing to install their usual amount of bloatware on it (they either didn't realize, or didn't *care* that Google has a special feeling about their Developer Phone), Google stepped in and said "Wait a minute, you can't put that junk on our flagship" and Verizon got really mad. The story goes on to say that Verizon then threatened to walk away from the deal, Google said "You do that and we will no longer certify our OS on Verizon phones", and there it stands.

Is the story true? I have no idea, but it is a *plausible* explanation for the delays and the odd lack of advertising or show of any enthusiasm on the part of Verizon.

Knowing VZW this sounds very feasible. It is such a shame they want to take a stance like this. They know what customers want but yet fight tooth and nail to not let us have it.

No VZW bloat on the Xoom, or the Galaxy Tab 10.1 for that matter.

My question Mujibar is why Verizon even went after the phone in the *first* place. Something like an NFL team drafting a defensive tackle and planning on turning him into a wide receiver. I mean, come ON - are you not following what this phone is, and the audience it's directed to?

They KNOW their customers want it. They were hoping to have their cake and eat it too?

Maybe T-Mobile will get it first in the end...maybe I'll switch. They still have unlimited data and have 4G in my area, unlike VZW.

As a side note, probably wouldn't switch haha, but it's fun to pretend.
