What can help reduce the signal drops then? I'm on liquid 1.4 with the latest lean kernel.

If you have signal drops the problem is with you baseband radio.

You might wanna try the APP GETRIL and verify if your RIL matches your baseband. If it does not, GETRIL can update you RIL to match your baseband. Unless its an older radio.

Like for me, when I went from stock 4.0.1 to AOKP, the radio stayed to the stock one but my RIL changed for another radio so I decided to push that new radio file to my phone. Although I did not have any signal drops prior to doing this. i just like to keep everything compatible.

You can also try different baseband.

Here is a link with different baseband for GSM Nexus.

S said here i doubt Roms have much to do with signal drops but we have 0 of those reported on ICSourcery so while you are getting your radios updated feel free to browse over to the release thread and give it a run..

Hello, last week I had to turn my Verizon gnex in that had aokp running on it and radios worked fine. I had a problem with the phone and had to send it back. I have received two replacement phones both with 4.0.4 and having bad signal drops. Do you recommend I load a different radio than the 4.0.4 official. This is driving me crazy and Verizon and Samsung are clueless
