Hmmmmmmm. I am so tempted to do a full backup of current ROM and give this a shot.

Question. I think I am confused. I can flash this ROM from my current setup, and it will push it to 4.1 ? Or do I need to do that myself, and then install this ROM.

I think my readings in XDA are confusing me as I see a post there referring to J.B. as Android 5.0 and I see it referred to as 4.1 as well.

And if I do a backup, and wanted to flash back, it wouldn't revert my system back to 4.0.4 would it ? I would remain at 4.1?
Thought I had a better grasp on the terminologies and was up to date, but I have a giant brain fart gas bubble brewing I think. I think I have read TOO much in the last while. Maybe I should hold off until I got a grip on it again.

If you're using ROM manager/CWM just do a full wipe of data, cache, and dalvik cache and then flash the ROM. Then flash the SU fix or you will lose permission to root. Superuser is not working yet on JB so we are using Super SU instead. If you revert back to whatever ROM you have it will bring you back to that ie. 4.0.x.

As for the threads on XDA, they were there before the release of JB and we thought then that JB was 5.0 but of course we know now that is not. They just haven't correct it there yet.

So, it seems as smooth as.........well.......butter . I even went as far as to wipe the entire system to ensure a clean install.

Everything went great, but my AOKP wallpaper stayed up. I am a little baffled by this, but otherwise it seems slick, and I see nothing else out of the ordinary. Gonna nandroid this once it is set up at its most basic level. Thanks for posting this RobKort, and for your help. Off to candyland

Updated OP with version 2.5.1. This version does NOT have Aroma, as some users were experiencing some issues with it.

So, after a day, I really like this ROM but it is certainly lacking in many features that typically come with ROM's like AOKP and such, like themes, or ROM Control functions. Pretty bare bones. But smooth.

The one thing I don't like is the default app pop up window that now asks:

    Always or Just Once

it adds another click into the mix if you are like me and prefer to choose from multiple app options. For some actions, I do set default apps, but with some I prefer to have multiple app options.
In G.B and I.C.S. it asks "Set as default" and if you don't pre-select that, one pressing on the app takes you to it, but doesn't default. Now you have to select the app, then hit "Just Once". I preferred the ICS/GB default pop up method. I'll get used to it, but it was weird at first.

But other than that I find everything else is much cleaner, stylish and smoother. I can't wait to see it progress more.

I'm sure those options that are now lacking will be there as soon as we get the source code released to us, it's just a matter of time.

Oh, no doubt. I have faith in that. Looking forward to that time.
