+1. I used to have a screen protector on my Fascinate but stopped a few months ago. Nothing like letting that SAMOLED screen speak for itself!

I removed a screen protector from my DC that I was using (for 7 months) only to reduce friction when Swyping, and damn I forgot how much better the screen looked with out it...

even though it covered just the display part of the glass, I've noticed that the unprotected edges don't have any scratches and that's after 15+ months in my pocket. gorilla glass is a definite must for any phone i'm considering

    tsbbbbhhhhh!!!

I'm ambivalent on the subject of screen protectors. With Gorilla Glass, you don't need a S.P. so much for protection (unless you're abusing the phone), but the fact is that I absolutely *hate* fingerprints on my phone - they make me crazy. The Atrix 4G that I have, and my SGS2 are both without screen protectors, and I gotta admit the screens are easier to use, and the fingerprints are not that big of a problem - I just wipe the screen whenever I turn it off to put in my pocket, in an exercise of OCD that Freud would be proud of.

Screen protectors are the devil! I used one on my x for a while but hated how terrible it made the screen look so it got the boot. Months of naked phone (no case either) and the screen is scratch free and the body isn't damaged either. I'm thinking my nexus will be the same, naked.

I'm a klutz, so I should probably have case on my X. I got an Otterbox Commuter case for Christmas, but it's so bulky that I find myself using it only when I know I'll be outside a lot. As a result, there are nicks and scrapes on the phone's exterior because I drop it a lot. I use the Steinheil Ultra Crystal screen protector, and I don't notice a difference in feel or performance. Gorilla Glass is strong, but it's no match for my advanced klutziness.

I'm a large guy, so bulkiness isn't much of a concern and I don't like screen protectors, so I've always been an OtterBox fan.

No screen protector nor case for my droid x; it's been naked since day one. No gorilla glass for nexus unfortunately.

Isn't there another brand of scratch resistant glass, dragontooth or something like that? Does it have this, or any other type of scratch resistant glass??

According to Samsung, it will be scratch resistant, strengthened glass. Just not gorilla glass branded

Yes, this is a bit of a question mark. I've seen so many cracked iphones.
