poor signal strength since jellybean update

Hi folks. If anyone can help me out here it would be great.

a few months ago I did the update myself on my Bell galaxy nexus since they stopped rolling out updates.

i've noticed that the signal strength is worse since the update, any suggestions on what i can do to improve this?
