    Sorry to revive this dead thread but I have the SAME exact problem as OP had. Hell I even have the same specs, except for the baseband:

    Android version: 4.0.4
    Baseband version: I9250XXLA2
    Kernel version: 3.0.8-gda625b
    android-build@vbps1 #1
    SMP PREEMPT
    Build number: IMM76I

    I try to update to JB but it doesnt work what should I do?

    Please excuse me I am retarded, I actually did have the same baseband as OP, followed the steps and fixed it, thanks anyways.
