Galaxy Nexus Jelly Bean update

Hey guys, my Galaxy Nexus has recently received the update for Android 4.0.4 but not yet for 4.1 Jelly Bean. Has it got anything to do with the country I live in?

My build number is IMM76K.I9250XWLD2

based on your build, you are using GSM Yakjuxw build which has 4.0.4 as the latest build. You will be getting the updates from Samsung which is a bit delayed compared to those that use Yakju/Takju. If you want to get the JB update earlier, you need to flash plain Yakju or Takju build which may be done thru: [HOW TO] Update GSM Galaxy Nexus to ICS 4.0.4 and if no update still, you can manually flash JB thru: [HOW TO] GSM: Manually Update from ICS Yakju IMM76I to JB Yakju JRO03C. You can of course choose to wait because this involves reformatting your phone and losing all data.

That my friend is a question everyone has been asking for the longest time. Mostly it's a month delayed but some people say that it takes several months. We can't even say how Google releases the updates for yakju/takju because not everyone gets them at the same time. At first we thought it's regional but after consumers in one region say they got it already and others not yet, and other regions have reported getting them, we scrapped the idea. All we know is that it is sent out in waves. No idea on how the "waves" are determined.

Hey I have got the same problem I have also not received galaxy nexus jb update my build number is IMM76I DO U HAVE GOT ANY IDEA WHEN WILL BE THE UPDATE AVAILABLE..?

All the sites are talking about mid-July and that Galaxy Nexus will be one of the first devices receiving it. However, it is already mid-July and still no update. I guess I'll agree with @thephantom. We'll probably wait another month or so to receive the update.

I received build IMM76K about a week ago...no jelly bean as of yet for me. Been reading sites that says same information about Samsung to release for my build. My question is... do I always have to wait for Samsung to update my gnex? Will I ever get updates straight from Google?

i had the same build and had no patience. i flashed my phone to IMM76I as instructed in this forum then flashed the official OTA for JB, now I have 4.1.1.
