went back to stock....kernel question

Hi I bought a rooted GNex. I used the toolbox to bring it back to stock. Would this have done anything to the kernal? Reason why I ask is that it doesn't match my other Gnex. They are both the GSM versions. One is 4.0.4 and the other is 4.0.2 . I basically want any bits of rooting eliminated.

The kernels are going to be different between the 4.0.2 version and the 4.0.4 version. If everything said it was successful when you went back to stock you should be good to go. One thing to look for is when you start the phone, the Google splash screen doesn't have an unlocked lock icon at the bottom. You should be good to go if you don't. What is the kernel version on the one you put back to stock?

The only way to switch is to flash the stock images again, which you have done already so it isn't too hard Unless something went wrong when you flashed stock before then I'm pretty sure you have the stock kernel on there.
