Just forced the OTA update to my phone.............here's how.

This works. Took me three times through the procedure for my phone, and six times for my wife's. Upgrade provided us with significantly better 4g signal strength here in the fringes...

If were rooted and running a 4.0.4 rom say, aokp 37 and have flashed the new 4.0.4 radios then I guess no point for amy excitement right? Is it the same exact thing or any slight differences besides being official?

If you're already running a custom 4.0.4 ROM, you're not missing anything.

I am running AOKP milestone 4 but says android version 4.0.3.. so, I cleared the data and force stopped the google frame work.. went to systems/about phone but do not see an option to update or check or updates... what am I missing?

You're running a custom ROM & custom recovery. You shouldn't see any notices for an update.

That would probably cause more problems than you want. If you do want 4.0.4, I would advise flashing a 4.0.4. ROM. The "official" Verizon build (IMM76K) is available as a flashable package. BRB with a link.
