AOKP Milestone 5 4.0.4 radios wont come back on after disable

If I use the EK02/05 radios from 4.0.2 I have no issues. Using the fresh radios for 4.0.4 causes the radios not to come back on after sleep meaning the power save feature of the ROM is about useless. I am back on 4.0.2 radios, but wondered if anyone else had this issue? I searched high and low on every keyword I could think of but didnt find anyone else talking about this.Screenshot_2012-05-08-10-30-40[1].jpg

The rom has nothing to do with the radios. For power saver, do you have to cut out data when in use?

Well, on Build 32 and 33 of MS4 the newer 4.0.4 radios worked great. My issue is mainly that 3g is slow but 4g drains fairly quick even in standby. So, i have power saver set to cut the data all together when screen is off. The hand-off between 3 and 4 g is as slow as it was in 4.0.2 but at least it comes back on. Thought maybe it had something to do with the build.

Are you using the latest leaked 404 radios? If so, are you in a weak service area? Could be the cause of the issue. Just flash back to the last nightly that worked.

I believe I had gotten ahold of the leaked radios before hand. These were FA02 I believe which I flashed to FC04/FC05.

I'll follow this thread to see who else has the same issues and how they overcame it. Perhaps another build update of MS5 will be the key......or I could find the old radios, or better yet...this setup works so I could just leave well enough alone ehh?

I have since gone back to stock because i didnt see much use out of my ROM other than to confuse myself and found that there were a few apps like juice defender that worked well with the old radios and act a lot like moto's smart actions. ill just wait it out for the OTA official. I still say that AOKP MS5 4.0.4 is a GREAT ROM though. Also used Franco Kernel Updater, but too many options make someone like me play too much and then...frustration. So, im sure i will try all of this rooting again later on.
