OTA update 4.0.2 to 4.0.4 update fails

Hey folks - new and very happy GN owner. I have an unbranded and unlocked GSM model running Yakju.. I am on a US carrier based in the US. When I download the update it is about 37mb.. verifies the update then restarts. Gets about 1/3 of the way through the update then I get the sick little android laying down with the red triangle on the belly.

I have searched through the forums and not found any type of issue like this... anyone have any ideas?

    Baseband is I9250XXKK6
    Kernel is 3.0.8-gaaa2611 android-build@apa28#1
    Build # is ICL53F

Thanks a lot for any suggestions... I was about to do a factory reset then try it again.

    Andy H.

I didn't do it yet... I pull the battery - it boots normally and then acts like it doesn't know anything about an update for an hour or so then it offers up the update again.

I gotta bail for a bit sorry, someone will chime in, if you dont have a ton of stuff on your phone you dont mind losing do a factory reset. Apps-settings-factory reset.... It will wipe ALL data like pics etc.

Well thats a drag Andy, i cannot think of anything else at the moment since you're stock except to return the phone:-( Is that possible? Also dont get to stressed or frustrated (yet lol) there are a ton of folks with alot more brain power than I here.

Oh yeah.. Return is not a problem. It also has the occasional G and E next to the signal strength meter which is full... I'll be rooting around to see what these indicate as well...

    Thanks again.
