    Favorite Kernel for LTE Nexus

    Hey everyone!

I'm pretty excited, my new LTE Nexus should be showing up this morning and I can't wait to start modifying it to my liking. I see there has been a ton of development on this phone already (as expected) and am wondering what you guys have found to be your favorite kernel and why?

I'm a power user at heart but what I would like most is respectable performance and stability. I'm sure all of these kernels are great for many reasons, but I don't know which way I want to go and am looking for some input.

Imoseyon's Lean V3 is my current favorite, it comes with Axiom 2.2, soon to be release to the public most likely today

I was looking at IMO's Leankernel (v1.1 listed in the Kernel list thread). Is v3 available elsewhere or are these different kernels?

Yeah 2.2 most likely dropping today and yeah I wiped out of habit. DT said a minimal wipe might be ok, not one to take chances I did a full wipe. I've done it so many times in the last week or so I got restoring down to a science, back up, all screens restored in about 30 minutes!

Not sure where DT got it, the ROM isn't even released publicly yet, devs have their own exchange of stuff that sometimes doesn't get released to us right away. This particular kernel isn't even listed on Imoseyon's site at least that I saw in the wee hours this morning.

I've been in love with the AOKP line of ROMs. He's got the most unique Drop down toggles, not a CM kang but more like the tablet pop up. The batt % and soft key mod is built in with color themeing zips. Dont touch the power save feature in ROM controls though. It comes with Stock kernel which allows me to still play GTA 3. Its super fast and worth a look.

Kernels are easy to flash back and forth between as long as the ROM is compatible and most aosp ROMs are. Check out faux123 v5 kernel.
