WiFi stuck on "On"

I have a Galaxy Nexus S and today I was having an issue with my wifi by not being able to turn it on. I havent really installed anything to make it really mess with it. But today it would flash as a grey option and not let me select the option of letting me turn it on. I dont know whether it is a phone problem or what so I decided to do a factory reset cause I might have thought there was a bad code in my interface making it corrupt and after the factory reset it still wouldnt turn on. Any help at all would be really great.

Did you try a battery pull? I have an NS4G but never had that problem with it. I did have it frequently with my BB Curve, battery pull always fixed it for me. Maybe someone else will have an idea. You might want to check in the Nexus S forum. Good luck and let is know what works, it may help someone else.

I did a battery pull as well as a factory reset, and the wifi isnt wanting to turn on...When it is supposivly turning on it'll say "Turning Wi-Fi on..." and then the On/Off button will just grey out and just stay like that..

Do you experience the phone heating up as well?

Is it stock and is it still in warranty? If yes and yes, contact your provider about a warranty replacement. If answers are no and no, download odin and reflash stock image or use Wugs to go back to stock.
