    why is it so difficult to get the device into "bootloader" mode?

    Is it me ? or is it difficult to get the device into "bootloader" mode? I am doing what I am told (pressing up/down volume with the "power" button. It doesn't go to "bootloader" mode. It doesn't do anything?

    Are you doing it from power off state? Press and hold all three buttons until it boots into bootloader.






    Before you flash anything can you get back to stock? How to get back to stock using Odin



    Have you backed up your files and pictures? I see too many desperate cries for help recovering deleted priceless pictures with no solution.

    thanks, i just figured that out...geesh newb here i am trying to get thru rooting my device ......im 3/4 of the way through I think

    Once you've rooted and have everything set up the way you want, there's a free app on Google Play called Quick Boot which greatly simplifies the process of rebooting, rebooting into recovery or rebooting into bootloader. You ought to check it out, but remember you have to be rooted first.

    You should really take your time. Educate yourself by reading everything. Understand what you're about to do before doing it. Simple mistakes can create huge headaches. Make sure you have a FULL charge on your battery before starting the process. That being said ROOT AWAY!!!!
