Yes, I have reset different modems, and now that I am home I cannot even access my Wifi. I have reset all modems - father-in-laws and mine...mine is the latest Cisco modem and haven't had a problem (other than loosing my printer connection) since I bought it in February. My sister-in-law can access all modems with her iPhone3g. I tried accessing other open Wifi hotspots without success.
I turned off my avast antivirus and tried to access Wifi...no success.

Do you have any task killers or anything else like they on your phone? Battery saver apps?

I use Juice defender and turn off almost all of my apps that I don't use regularly - saves battery life. Also, I in avast mobile I control how and if apps are open. I tried to turn off on or two, but I was concerned I might cause more problems with my phone.
I haven't tried turning off Juice defender. Other than updates - and turning on/off new apps - I don't touch it.
The apps that are turned on include:
Note: all of these apps have been within about a month of purchasing my phone in February without problems. I do understand that updates may cause problems.
Adaway
Adfree
Avast mobile
Google calendar
Evernote

smsBlocker
Superuser
Swiftkey

I turned off Juice Defender without success. I will check for other battery saver apps now.

Just prior to the problem I deleted my Adobe pdf reader. Any possibility this could have cause the problem? I cannot see why it would.

No other apps that control battery except ANtuTu CPU Master. I am using the fee version and have virtually no controls except for Max and Min CPU performance, set on boot and GPU control (set for performance at 1200 max and min.)which is set at cfq and the alternatives include deadline and noop. Not sure what these options are.

Is your voltage settings set to 1200 min and 1200 max or was that a typo? If your min and max are 1200 that can't be good for your phone. It should be running hot and stuff. It should be something like max 1200 min 384.
Also are you rooted or stock? If you are rooted what ROM/Kernel combo are you using?

Hi,
Here is the information you requested:
I am rooted using GNexus-root-package-FYA with Superuser pack.
ROM/Kernal combo - 3.0.8-gaaa2611 android-build@apa28 #1
Other possible important information
Android version - 4.0.2
Build # - ICL53F.I9250OUGLA4
Mobile network type - UMTS:3
Signal Strength - -103 dBm 5asu
To determine whether or not the CPU master was conflicting with the Wifi I uninstalled it. Thanks for the heads up about running it at 1200 not being good for my phone. If I reinstall I will make certain to set properly.
