Can't update or install apps from Google Play

When I try to install or update apps I'm not able to. I get an error message saying (Error retrieving information from server. [RPC:AEC:0])

So I went in the Settings and Apps tried to clear the cache. That didn't work so I uninstalled the updates for it. Now I get a different error code when trying to update my apps. I get "App name could not be downloaded due to an error (-101)"

Troubles with Play Store
and when you open play store..go to the settings under general and put a check in auto update. After the program starts working again you can take the check off if you like

Thanks now my only issue is when you open up the apps and press the play icon in the top right of the apps drawer nothing happens.
