    Push notifications not being received

    Hi all... hopefully someone can help me! I've got an unlocked Nexus, and am on the T-Mobile $30/month plan. I upgraded to Jelly Bean a few days ago, and love it so far. One problem is really bugging me though... I noticed in the past 24 hours or so that I am no longer receiving push notifications. I still receive notifications from K-9 Mail and Handcent SMS, but it seems that every other app (Words with Friends, Facebook, POF, eHarmony) is no longer delivering notifications. I've been raqcking my brain trying to figure what could have caused this, and I really don't know. I'm hoping to not have to go the factory reset route!

    Any ideas?

    I'm on t-mobile with a family plan and tzones (5.99/mo). Upon upgrading to 4.1 I had issues with notifications. I rolled back to 4.0.4 and then CM 9 RC1 and all issues have been resolved. I think I'm going to sit out 4.1 JB until an update is issues, or CM comes out with CM10

    Hey there! Try and check the apps settings that you are having the problem with. If everything looks like it should try going in to settings>apps and finding each of the apps and clearing data for them. See if that gets them working for you.

    I use the paid version of Light Flow (which I love especially for my games) - and they just updated the app for Jellybean Support. If you aren't using any 3rd party notification apps like I am, it could just be those apps and how they interact with the newer OS. Don't freak out and you might just have to be patient and wait for them to release an update.

    I'm having issues also. Posted to a separate thread.

    Gmail notifications are not working. They worked in the beginning, but seemed to have stopped. I've checked all the settings that I can find, wiped cache and data in gmail and still nothing.

    I'm on Razor's JB Rom. I went to Bugless Beast (which is where I started to notice the gmail issue), so went back to Razor, but now still having the same issue. Not sure what to do.

    I was able to restre my push notifications by doing the following... uninstall the app, reboot, reinstall the app. I wish I knew what caused them to stop working in the first place... I'm not sure f it was the JB update or not.

    Did you reinsatll from a back up or from the market?
