SIP Accounts
So on my old Motorola Droid X I could use the app SIP Droid to make internet calls. Then when the X started getting ICS ROMs, the built in SIP was there, but there were issues with the microphone not working and etc. However, back when I had the X, I could in fact set up the account with my pbxes.org account and it's connect, I just couldn't hear/talk with it because of the ROM issues.
Now I'm on the Gnex and trying to get it working like it should, but I can't seem to get it to authenticate with my pbxes account. I have the exact same settings in the Gnex as I did with my Droid X that would work, but now it's not working. Anyone have theirs set up and working?
So far, I've got the following:
Username: "my_pbxes_account"-200
Password: password (should be the password in the extensions page at pbxes.org, which could also be same password for logging into pbxes.org)
Server: pbxes.org
Set as primary account: Checked
On my old Droid X, these settings would authenticate and connect, but like I said, now they're not on my Gnex. Any ideas?

Does it give you a specific error? Are you connected to WiFi or using your data connection?

I've tried it on my home wifi, 4G, and work's wifi. I just get the "Account registration unsuccessful: (transaction terminated); will try later" message.

Does anyone use pbxes and Voip and have it working on their Gnex?

You were super close to make it work. What you are missing is that to change the following:
On Transport Style under Optional Settings need to be set to TCP instead of the default UDP
It work on my unrooted Galaxy Nexus just fine.
On the side note, make sure all passwords (including your gmail, pbxes, trunks, etc...) are all the same. That will save you tons of time and headaches and when you change the password on gmail, don't forget to update the passwords on pbxes.org

CharlieSD,
I have been searching and searching forums for days on end to find someone who could resolve my problems with Sipdroid, PBXes.org and my Samsung Galaxy Nexus and yours is the most recent post I could find with my exact mobile device.
For the life of me I cannot get this to work! I have the green dot at the top in the taskbar of the phone, I have Gtalk account and regular pbxes account with the same password. I've even deleted and resigned up for PBXes.org 3 times to no avail. In addition to what I've mentioned, I made sure I changed the configuration on my phone to TCP as well, but everytime I try to call anyone, an automated error message says, "Your call cannot be completed as dialed. Please try your call again later."
I've uninstalled and reinstalled Sipdroid in frustration of not being able to make it work. I'm about to give up completely because I've spent days on end rechecking and confirming I have the right settings and no matter how many forums I go to recheck and confirm, it still yields the same error message result. Please, if you have any insight into how to get this to work, I would be forever grateful to you.
