Gmail help please?

I get a e-mail from work 2 times a day. One about 2:30pm and one about 4:30pm. The emails are pdf attachments. The 1st one comes through fine, then when the 2nd one comes in it does away with the 1st one , or I can't find it. My question is can each one be seperate so I can click on the one I want to open. On my pc at home each one is seperate and I just pick the one I want to open.If they can't be seperated, how do I find the 1st one? I'm on a stock phone if that matters. Thanks

It sounds like perhaps you have your gmail account to delete emails after they are downloaded to either you home computer or your phone. You can go to the Google/Gmail inbox/settings and change that. Then the email will stay on your phone as long as you want it to.

If coming from the same sender it also might be part of the conversation chain. When you open the email you should be able to go back to previous tabs of the conversation.

Actually this seems a better explanation of the issue the op is referring to. I didn't pickup on the "separate" talk about the two emails. On my phone where there are multiple emails from a single sending, I'm able to simply scroll down through the email chain and the attachments are still there.

When you open the email on your phone from gmail you will see the tab at the top. What i mean is it will show the newest message and right above the line where you hit the arrow to reply is the tab. You can just click it and it takes you back to previous conversations in the chain.

For whatever reason you cannot turn off the conversation view in the Gmail app like you can on your pc. Guess they didn't figure anyone would want to do that
