Is it possible to extract/obtain any data from the phone if stuck in a bootloop?

Is it possible to extract/obtain any data (i.e. photos, etc.) from the phone if the phone is stuck in a bootloop?

My phone is stock and currently in a boot loop with the google logo appearing repeatedly. I can access fastboot mode and odin mode using the buttons.

I really don't want to perform a factory reset and lose all my photos =/

    Thanks!

Don't think so, especially when this phone doesn't have an SD card slot. The only thing you can do its either keep it backed up on a PC or with TiBu on Dropbox.

You could boot your phone into temporary ClockworkMod and perform a backup (aka nandroid).
    'backup and restore' > backup

Then you could use clockworkmod to factory reset... afterwards try and boot back up. If it works, copy the ClockworkMod folder off your sdcard onto your computer for safe keeping... might as well grab everything off your sdcard actually.

Next boot back into temporary clockworkmod again and try to do a selective restore.. its in the advanced menu. Restore just the data.

Boot back up. If you bootloop again... then boot back into bootloader mode and flash a full factory image.. this will completely wipe your device.

Then try a selective restore again.

This might work... I can't think of anything else. You could use the toolkit in my sig to help you perform those tasks.

Had this happen a time or two or ten with a bad flash etc... Follow wugs advice and use either adb or his toolkit to reboot into recovery. If you have a backup you can restore and be good to go.

If stock then maybe you can adb pull from the SD. But nor being rooted might limit what you can pull.

I am pretty sure you can adb pull the whole sdcard without root.. problem is adb doesn't work in bootloader mode.. and there is no equivalent pull command in fastboot.

If you can get the device recognized in adb then ya it'll work. True dat root isn't needed for SD. On my xoom you could fastboot bootloader and then run adb from there.

That's cool. I wish you could do that with this phone.
