I set my phone down next to my desk earlier. Picked it up a few hours later (about 3 hours) to check for any messages, and the screen wouldn't turn on. OK, weird.
Long press power, nope.
Plug it in, wait a few minutes. No charging animation, screen won't turn on, phone won't turn on.
Took out the battery, let it sit.
Put it back together, knot in stomach ... w00t, it powers on!
5% battery remaining when it finishes startup. OK, let's check to see what ate up the battery and shut the phone down ...

Badass Battery Monitor had no hints either. I was running Franco's R166, but I'd been running since release with no issues. I'll update to R169 tonight. It might be kernel related, it just seems weird that the phone managed to discharge without the OS knowing about it or registering anything using the battery. Anybody seen this before?
