    I figured it out

I've pondered this question for a while and thought I'd do my webizen duty and fill you in on what I found out. I did a little test. Turned on the feature to send me a text whenever new devices log on. I removed all device sessions. I logged into facebook on my android galaxy nexus, forced to put in txt message password, and then I saw this under security:

    Last Accessed: Today at 3:48pm
    End Activity
Location: Capitol Heights, MD, US (Approximate)
    Device Type: Safari on Linux
    Last Accessed: Today at 3:47pm
    End Activity
    Device Name: Facebook for Android
Location: Capitol Heights, MD, US (Approximate)
    Device Type:
    Unknown
    Session Initiated: Today at 3:47pm
    End Activity
    Application Name: Facebook for Android

I am in suburbs west of Philadelphia on Verizon (3g is currently on). I could hover over the location and it gave me an IP address. It was the same exact IP address of my phone if I did a whatismyip.com on my phone. Soo, my conclusion is that it detects a login from Facebook for Android and the app itself must also have some other process that makes it think it is running "Safari on Linux". It happened at same time, same IP address on both Device Locations. Problem solved
