Here's an easy way I found to upload/transfer .mobi files to my galaxy nexus' kindle folder. Transfer the .mobi file to a destination folder on your phone. Open up the destination folder in ES File Explorer, select and copy the .mobi file and paste into the kindle folder. Done.

I'd like to share an alternative of Android file transfer tool, this third party program has two versions- Windows/Mac. With it, you can easily transfer data from Android to Windows or MAC. How to view text messages on computer

To transfer data between your phone and Windows or Mac computer, you can try some data backup softwares, and I think it can be easier with an android assistant tool, you can save a lot of time to transfer or backup text messages, contacts, photos, and other media files like videos, music files.
