Calendar Won't Sync Events Older Than Three (3) Weeks

My GN syncs with a corporate Exchange account. I have it set to sync mail, contacts and calendar. In the settings, I have "Days to sync" set to "All". it syncs "all" of my E-mail, and "all" of my contacts, but will only download the past three (3) weeks of calender appointments.

My HTC Inspire was able to pull down every calendar appointment in my Outlook file going back like 10 years. Anyone out there able to get their device to pull down more than three weeks of past appointments? If so, what setting di you change to make that work?

1. Are you talking about an Exchange account? My issue is specific to ActiveSync via a hosted MS Exchange account....not a Google calender etc.

2. Who is your hosted Exchange provider?

Thanks. And just to be clear, we are talking about ALL events right? Not just recurring events?

The reason I ask is because I submitted an "issue" in the Android project development website, and a developer of the OS claims that calender "lookback" is limited intentionally by the OS. Or he may be saying that while they provide a selection of "all" for mail, they don't provide a selection for calendar (which is the case), but that doesn't exclude the possibility that the calender syncs all anyway.

He also said they are going to add the ability to select the calendar "lookback" extent independently as an enhancement, which would be awesome.

My MS Exchange host's attitude about figuring this problem out pissed me off, so I decided to switch hosts today. I'll report back after the new account is operational and I sync with it. Hopefully it will pull down all my appointments.

I'm new to Android, but find that missing all my past events older than about 1 month really frustrating.
I sync with Google Calendar (which does have all my past events, going back 20+ years), which also (correctly) syncs with Outlook on my desktop. Past recurring events which are still ongoing *do* get synced, but not any single events.
Can anyone suggest a way to get these past events syncing onto my Galaxy Nexus?
