MMS Messaging Not Working?

When I try to send a picture message the message shows up and it says "SENDING..." but never actually sends. Why is this? Also, when I receive picture messages I click on "download" and it says "downloading..." but then never actually downloads. What can I do to resolve this issue?

I have same problem! definitely somethign wrong there

I took advice from another post and installed "handcent" works better and MMS seems to send and receive correctly

I also think it has something to do with having phone on wifi, when I am on wifi my phone type data doesnt always work correctly...when I switch the wifi off and use 3g...mms and data seems to work?
I hope they fix it soon

Okay, I didn't know if I was the only one with this issue and I'm doing something wrong or if other people have trouble with it too. I'll try the handcent thing and see how that works for me. Hopefully there is a real solution soon, though.

It looks as if the Handcent worked. I'm not sure why it doesn't work in the original messaging app but oh well. Whatever gets the job done I suppose. Thanks!!

No issues using stock SMS and MMS on wifi or thru 3G/4G. . .

Did you try restarting your Gnex?

yeah I tried that and it didn't work but as soon as I installed Handcent it worked so I can't complain.

Same here...not a real solution.. an answer and a fix would be better

I can't seed MMS trough wifi either works well on 3g. Just to report.

Tried it yesterday. GMS version with 4.0.1 and it worked. Had Wi-fi on
