    ClockworkMod Frozen

Hey everyone. I was just backing up my system because I was about to flash a kernel. InCWM 5.5.0.4, I am stuck at SYSTEM_BOOT@1325138420549.txt. It's been sitting here for about 10 minutes or so. What should I do?

How did you boot into recovery?

Power button, chose recovery. I'm running Android Open Kang Project. I pulled the battery and the phone came back up.

The battery pull was gonna be my suggestion, I researched your error message since you're back I'll leave it at that. Try it again this time power off, and go into recovery using the vol up/down power button method and see if that works and let us know if the error repeats.

I thought that got you to stock recovery only. Is this another way to get into CWM?

EDIT: That worked. Thanks for the advice. Feel free to close this.

Glad it worked. We'll keep it open just in case someone else has a similar issue.

Sounds good. Were you able to find anything on that SYSTEM_BOOT error? I looked in my clockwork mod folder. My first backup was 988mb and this one was 960mb. It seems as if it kept on going even after it froze.

Hmm, hoping it's one time thing...my backups are usually around that size sometimes a bit bigger so that's on the button.

I'll have a look at it and see if I can pin down the error, I wasn't really successful earlier...fyi.

Ok no worries. I'll look around later and see what I can find.

Hello, kind of joining the discussion a little late, but I've been rooting phones for a long time and have used clockwork, spr and RZR recoveries a lot. I would strongly suggest that you not try to use the 960 backup. It may just be fine, but it sure would be easier to just make another backup and get rid of the 960 one. Just my opinion and YMMV!!

    Good luck with this.
