Not sure, you could extract it and try.
Though I found the new one is larger, and though not resizable, made me rethink my layouts on my screens - I too the icons I used to have on each and placed them in a folder, freeing up room on the screen for the larger photo areas.
I'm pleased with the results, and for "moving forwards" in the Android experience rather than trying to recreate my old OG layouts.
I just really like the way it resized with LPP. The new one just doesn't seem to do it well, as least not with GoLauncher or ADW anyways
