Can I remove CWM Recovery after JB install?

This past weekend I installed the official JB zip file from Google. In order to do that I had to unlock my bootloader and install CWM Recovery. The upgrade went fine and I have been using JB for a few days. I have re-locked my bootloader but I am wondering if I can now remove CWM recovery or will that affect my JB install?

    Thanks,
    Mark

When you flashed cwm, did you do it permanently? If not, a reboot would actually remove it and bring back the stickers recovery

I don't remember seeing an option for permanent or not. I'll have to check when I get home. My guess is, since I have re-booted a few times over the weekend, that is it permanent.

Removing cwm will not effect the ROM. I personally would just leave it there though because its not hurting either way and if you do decide to flash something else that's one less step you will have to take. Really the only reason to go back to stock recovery would be for warranty reasons. But to each his own

    Thanks Oxlong27.
The only reason I wanted to remove it was that I read that I will not get VZW updates pushed to me if it is there....of course VZW doesn't seem to that very often so maybe it's a moot point

You are correct about not receiving updates, however anytime Verizon pushes out an update their is always a dev that puts out a stock rooted version of it (if stock is your thing)

By the time Verizon updates the gnex. You might have a new phone by then
