Hi
I used Wugfresh's Nexus Root Toolkit (1.5.3) to flash to stock Jelly Bean. I was previously on 4.0.1 (yakjuux). Jelly Bean is great, and everything was fine, but I wanted to make sure I could still restore it back to yakjuux in case I need warranty service at any point.
So, I first tried the OEM Lock button, which worked fine. Then I unlocked again, which wiped the phone, and then I attempted to root so I could restore the nandroid backup I had made.
Now, when I click the Root button, it reboots into Fastboot, then says it's pushing files, and then I see the "Team Win" logo, and then a screen with 8 grey buttons (top says "Team Win Recovery Project v2.2.0), and the Toolkit on my computer says "Waiting for your device to finish booting back up". It's been sitting like this for a long time now. Previously, I tried clicking the "Reboot" button on the phone, checked for root, and didn't appear to be rooted.
I just want to flash the nandroid backup. Do I need to be rooted for that? The tool says I do.
What did I do wrong?
On another note, is it possible to just obtain the ROM of the original Yakjuux at a later date if I need it? I'd really like to get back to the Jelly Bean goodness I had...
Thanks...
