I used CWM up until it started having issues and made the switch to TWRP. Both are good but now after using TWRP I like it more, its all down to personal preference.

    +1 TWRP

    CWM.

I find the best part about this recovery is the integration of ROM Manager, much like GooManager adds functionality to TWRP. Granted ROM Manager is not a free app, but that's a personal choice. I like the ability to stack up multiple ZIP files, and additional commands, such as wipe Dalvik, and then tell it to "Go". The same is true with backups. You give it instructions and set the phone down, to find it done and rebooted when you come back.

TWRP you can name the backup before you actually backup, so you dont have to go back and rename after you reboot. TWRP you can add multiple zip files during installation process. CWM was good but when it started having issues it just wasnt dependable and now it uses a lot of small files during the restore process and have fun if one got deleted by accident.

All in all it is down to personal preference. I have used CWM since my Droid X days and had no issues until 5.8 or somewhere around there when the saving and restore process changed. You can switch between the two very simple by having Rom Manager and Goo Manager installed on the phone. And thats another thing Rom Manager started causing issues as well so it just had to go for me. I would say try both and stick with the one you like the best.

Yeah totally agree, I have the pair of them and RM is on its way coz it still gives me jip from time to time. Think if you can find your way round a ROM like finding your way around the house then alls well but me lol no way,
