Wireless Tether for Jelly Bean

I am running Jelly Bean. Has anybody know of a wireless tether app that works with JB? Foxfi and wireless tether does not work yet.

Wireless tether worked for me I can't check because I went back to 4.0.4

I am running the Vicious 4.1 jelly bean rom and it works great with the built in tethering. I didn't think it would work, but imo it works BETTER than stock 4.0.4 or any other rom on ics. I constantly loose a mobile signal (while tethering) as well as go from 4g to 3g and tethering still works. I've been impressed so far.

So, you are using the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot option? I thought VZW would see that I am tethering and hit me with a charge?

nope.....they won't charge you unless you activate that service.

Hello I am new to this forum and I have rooted my Galaxy Nexus with Verizon. Currently I am running Bugless Beast 8/07 ROM and I have tried a few others, but I haven't been able to get any wireless tether app to work. It will load the app fine and shows that it is working, but when I go search on any device for the name it doesn't exsist. I have tried the wireless tether that was on the ROM, I tried FOXFI and also a few others. I have removed the app and gone back into the app store and put it back on. I have put updated ROMS and tried everything under the sun! Can someone help me out? Thank you!

Are you trying to connect to laptop or other device? It can take a while to connect but it does work. I've been using the built in portable Wi-Fi hotspots on all different roms without issues. Look in Control panel>Network and Internet>Manage Wireless Networks. Make sure you have Android AP listed.

The newest Wireless Tether app (released 2 days ago) finally works on JB ROMs now.

Had to set device as generic JB/ICS - wlan0 and enable routing fix, but works great now (FINALLY!)
