I have never used Boot Manager but after the description I bought it. I have a nandroid backup of Gummy_.7.0, Apex_1.0 and run AOKP B21. In bootmanager I setup phone ROM as AOKP B21, selected install zip for ROM 1 and chose restore Nandroid. Navigated to my Gummy backup and it completed successfully, repeated for ROM 2 and Apex. I was able to boot into all three ROMs no wipe, just a reboot.

I choose ext 2 when asked between 2/4. It failed first time I tried when I choose ext4. Closed app came back and did it again.

Awesome. Now updating these ROMs wont be near as bad.

I found you description better than the app itself

Ok so now that this is out for us, can someone using it explain why it is better to use this app instead of just loading a nandroid up and loading a different one up when I want to switch, besides not having to go in to recovery and doing it myself like ROM manager does? Is it faster? What advantage do I get? I see that it syncs call logs and sms stuff between the ROMs but I can back all that stuff up myself. It seems like it's just something that makes it easier for you. Would someone mine explaining it to me

I can't flash another zip though to update the slot. Booting into CWM is not a good idea when using this. Unless you realize anything flashed will be flashed on "phone ROM" regardless of what slot you are booted from. Hope its updated soon.

It just got an update and I was able to update a ROM slot successfully that previously failed as well as gapps. Even though it said it was successful when updating kernel when I booted into ROM it was still on old kernel.

Backup still seems broke which makes it pointless. The current state of the ROM is lost when you switch to another ROM slot. Any apps updated or settings changes have to be done each time you boot into a ROM.

And it takes a ton of memory. The more slots the more memory.
