Re: Wug's Nexus Root Toolkit v1.5.3

Is it required to delete the current drivers then install the ones the kit offers? I couldn't get the drivers from the kit to recognize. I deleted mine and installed as the instructions said, but when I went to unlock it went into the process for a minute then said something about the drivers not being recognized. I did this process of deleting and installing drivers about 10 times and tried the Samsung and pdanet methods with no success

I had the same issue the first time. In the end I deleted everything I tried and let them automatically install.

Figured my experience is better than no answer

I've never had the best of luck with the auto install of drivers.. follow the instructions and do everything manually.. only takes a few minutes.

I just noticed that the kit doesn't have build number JR0030 as I have. If I wipe it will it reset back to the previous ics build I had? It was IMM76Q

I used this yesterday to unlock & root my Nexus, and couldn't believe how easy it was. This is the 3rd device I've rooted, but this was by far the easiest! Once again my hat's off to you Wug!
